Canvas Christmas ornaments

I made a few of these Christmas ornaments as gifts for friends.  I got 3x3 canvas pieces at Michael's. First, I put Gesso on the canvas and after letting that dry, I stamped the snowman image (Purple Onion Designs) onto the canvas.

I let that dry and then colored the image with my copic markers. The blue backgrounds look like water color but I used my Copics on those too. I then punched a hole on each side at the top, added a ribbon and a button at the bottom. Voila!  A cute Christmas ornament!!

Thanks for helping me hold it together

I made this card for my friend Missy.  I used washi tape on the side of the card and I just folded it up and over each piece. Real easy and I love how it looks. I saw that idea on Pinterest.  Stamps by Unity.

Happy Birthday Tim

I found this digital image by Deidre Mosher Designs on etsy and had to get it. This is Tim everytime he comes to our house. He falls asleep in the recliner! LOL  She is having a 50% off sale so that makes this digi image only $1.50. I know a few "men" who I will be making this card for this year.  HA HA HA

I paper pieced the chair using A Muse Studio gingham paper. I colored the floor using my Copics and then to get those lines, I used my colorless blender and just took the marker up and down to make those marks.

There's a new snowman in town

by the name of BERRY. He's from Purple Onion Designs and the moment I saw him, I knew I had to have him. He is just the cutest snowman ever!! I've made a few cards with him and I like him more and more each time :). What do you think?

Card #1 I used a border die behind him. And used some cherry/white twine to tie behind him and inside the button.

Card #2 I used the Apsen background from A Muse Studio. This stamp is so versatile.

Card #3 I used a paint chip I had gotten from Lowe's when we were painting Emily's new bedroom. She chose one of these colors (Coral) and I thought why not stick it on a card?  You can find Berry at Purple Onion Designs

Canvas Christmas ornaments

I gave these to Michelle for her birthday this week. I think they came out pretty cute!!  I found these tiny canvas's at Michael's. Its the only place I have found them this small. I painted the background with purple acrylic paint using a diaper wipe. I stamped images onto paper, colored them with copics, then cut them out and mod podged them onto the canvas pieces. Add a piece of twine or heavy ribbon and voila, they are Christmas ornaments!!

Go forth and eat cake!

Freebies at Birdie Brown ....

Birdie Brown is offering 2 FREE digital images at her website  http://birdiebrown.blogspot.com/search/label/Freebies .... and I just think they are the cutest.  Check them out!!!  I made this card right away and I think these snowmen brads I bought at Peanut Doodles (at 50% off) match perfectly with this image!!  Patterned paper by Bo Bunny. Digital image by Birdie Brown. Snowman brads by Doodlebug.

Its always sad losing a pet.

Its so hard coming up with a sympathy card for a person or for a pet who passes away. I made this for Angela, Charlie's daughter. Her wonderful boy Frasier passed away this week and he was 14 years old. He was such a good dog and we will all miss him very  much!!
